Betty Jane (Hall) Sheridan, 89, of Oblong, IL passed away Wednesday September 13, 2017 at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong. IL.
Betty Jane was born in Charleston, IL on September 28, 1927 to Charles B. and Chella Elsie (Endsley) Hall. On June 11, 1994 she married Garold “Keith” Sheridan who survives.
Betty Jane was a secretary at Eastern Illinois University for many years before retiring. Earlier in her working career she worked at the Farm Supply in Charleston, IL. Betty Jane was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Ste. Marie, IL. She graduated as Valedictorian from Charleston High School in 1946. Betty Jane and Keith traveled and sang as song evangelists for many years.
Betty Jane is survived by her husband Keith Sheridan, Oblong, IL, Step daughters and son-in-law Twila and Ted Brown, Portland, TN and Nila Overdorff, Noblesville, IN. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and a cousin Joyce McNutt from Alaska.
Betty Jane was preceded in death by her parents.
